Carrie Arsenault
Carrie Arsenault is the President of the Board of the Ignite a Dream Foundation as well as the Founder & CEO. Her desire to launch a charity focused around giving children the opportunity to engage in sports is what fueled her passion to create the foundation. When asked throughout the last several years how she became a successful entrepreneur, she believes a foundation and exposure to soccer and tennis throughout her childhood had a large impact.  Carrie is passionate that her competitive nature formed within a team environment, ability to push the physical and mental limits we can put on ourselves and true desire to succeed come from the commitment and exposure she had to sports starting at age 5.  She is also the the founder and owner of Accountability  which she launched in 2005 and has grown to three markets, five product lines and received continuous recognition for the Best Places to Work, Top 10 recruiting Firms and ranked #5 for the fastest growing privately held companies in Central Texas in 2009.
Carrie obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin. She played club soccer which required travelling, training and making it through extremely competitive tryouts in Dallas starting at age 11 and was the only female at Richardson High School to letter on the Varsity Tennis and Soccer teams as a freshman. Tom Pickens
Tom Pickens is the Treasurer for the Ignite a Dream Foundaton. Mr. Pickens became president and chief executive officer of Astrotech Corporation in January 2007. In 1985, Mr. Pickens founded T.B. Pickens & Co., a company that provides consulting services to corporations, public institutions, and start-up organizations. From 1991 to 2002, Mr. Pickens was the Founder and Chairman of U.S. Utilities, Inc., a company which operated 114 water and sewer utilities on behalf of various companies affiliated with Mr. Pickens. From 1995 to 1999, Mr. Pickens directed over 20 direct investments in various venture capital investments and was Founder and Chairman of the Code Corporation. From 1988 to 1993, Mr. Pickens was the Chairman of Catalyst Energy Corporation and was Chairman of United Thermal Corporation. He is also the managing partner and founder of Tactic Advisors, Inc., a company specializing in corporate turnarounds on behalf of creditors and investors that have aggregated to over $20 billion in value .Mr. Pickens has also served in the capacity representing the Office of the Chairman, Mirant Equity Committee (NYSE) and Director, Optifab, Inc. (NASDAQ). He is currently Director, Trenwick America Corporation and Director, Advocate MD. Mr. Pickens graduated from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas with a degree in economics and started his first successful multi-million dollar business while in college.
Tom Wilkinson
Tom Wilkinson is the Secretary for the Ignite a Dream Foundation and one of the founding partners of PMB Helin Donovan, LLP, an Austin based, regional accounting firm with offices in Texas, California and Washington. Tom is the Chief Financial Officer and Austin Office Partner in Charge of his firm. His clients include private and public companies, and required substantial international work. Tom’s firm has been one of the top ten fastest growing accounting firms in the United States for each of the last five years.His professional experience includes work at other public accounting firms, KPMG and Ernst & Young, as well as within the treasury accounting group at Dell. Immediately prior to joining his current firm as a founding partner in 2002, Tom was the Chief Financial Officer for a subsidiary of Credit Suisse First Boston.Tom is an Austin native, and attended Lake Travis High School prior to attending the University of Texas. At UT, Tom received a BBA and Master’s of Professional Accounting concurrently in 1992. He was an active member of the Beta Kappa chapter of Delta Sigma Pi and served in various officer roles.

Currently, Tom serves as a board member and treasurer for Literacy Coalition of Central Texas and as a board member of the Texas Land Trust Council.

Dr. Tony Pacheco

Dr. Tony Pacheco is a leading cosmetic and restorative dentist in Austin and a 1997 graduate of the Baylor College of Dentistry.  Dr. Pacheco, along with his team of oral surgeons, periodontists, and orthodontists, has created countless incredible smiles in Austin. He sets a high standard for patient care and strives to provide every individual with a personalized experience and impeccable quality of dental services.
Dr. Pacheco is a leader in the dental community and a dedicated volunteer to those in need of dental assistance.  Dr. Pacheco donates his time to ensure that patients of all ages receive dental care.  His volunteer services include work with “Seal Out Decay….The Austin Way,” the Indigent Care Collaboration with Health Partnerships, the Austin District Dental Hygienists Society, the Capital Area Dental Society, the Theo Project and the City of Austin Community Care Services.  Dr. Pacheco is particularly dedicated to meeting the dental needs of Austin children.  Along with donating and placing sealants to prevent decay, Dr. Pacheco participates in free dental screenings and oral hygiene.
Dr. Pacheco has been recognized as a leader among his peers and is one of a select few who served on the local dental society’s peer review committee which engages in a process to mediate and resolve disputes between dentists and patients.
Dr. Pacheco is originally from Spearman Texas, has practiced in San Antonio and Austin and completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Texas.
George Maney
Director of Strategy and Fundraising
George Maney is the President and CEO of Coach America, one of the nation’s largest transportation companies and is a board member of the American Bus Association. He has extensive financial and operational management experience with Fortune 100 companies including McKesson and IBM. Mr. Maney holds an M.B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin and a B.A. from The University of Notre Dame. He resides in Dallas with his son, Tate, and is an active masters athlete and is involved in horse rescue.
