Jimmy Stanton

Director of Athletic Programs

Jimmy Stanton is the Director and Coach of the Ignite A Dream Soccer Program. He is highly passionate about developing young athletes into excellent soccer players and community leaders. Jimmy grew up in Dallas, playing for small soccer clubs before moving to the Austin area in 1998, where he attended Southwestern University in Georgetown.  He was a 3-year starting goalkeeper and graduated in December of 2001 with a BA in Business.  After graduating, Jimmy started coaching for clubs in Georgetown in 2002 and later moved to Dripping Springs in 2005, coaching highly competitive soccer teams.  Jimmy also stays involved with the indoor soccer community as a manager at Soccer Zone in south Austin.

Jimmy currently coaches club soccer for the River City Rangers as the coach of the 96 boys team, head of recreational training, and the goalkeeper trainer for the club.  He holds an NSCAA Advanced Regional Diploma.
